An original contemporary music library photographed from an upper landing, its long rectangular reading hall lined with honey-colored timber shelves. Gently curved felt acoustic baffles hang in parallel bands beneath a continuous clerestory; they are visibly suspended from a coherent ceiling structure. A charcoal grand piano sits at the distant end, with a few tiny adult readers giving scale. Three warm pools of light punctuate the otherwise soft northern daylight. Ordered perspective, rich wood end grain, linen seating and genuine architectural joints. Calm architectural magazine photography, no impossible stairs, no signage, no replicated existing building.
